IFRF Academy for Training and Education in Combustion

It is an IFRF tradition to offer technical courses on new developments and advances in the area of energy conversion and environment protection. These courses are typically organized internally and delivered by representatives from the IFRF’s international membership base of industrial and academic organizations throughout the world. As such, the IFRF is well placed to provide presentations which cover the state of the art of technology, application, associated problems and their solutions – both as they relate to present or future users in industry and in terms of their importance to the scientific community in planning further research work.

Typically such courses are arranged for a period of 3 to 5 days and attract some 20 or 30 participants from academia, research and industry. The course programme is usually enriched by a visit to an industrial site and/or research facility near to the selected venue.
